Probably not, though this IS mafia territory... I dunno how you spin on dry roads in a vehicle like that though.
Also, I’m puzzled by the tape on the door. Dealer car on a test drive maybe? Gotta see how much G you can generate when changing lanes, right?

I was unaware there was such a thing as too much power :)

I bought a 5.0L V8 compact sedan. Me neither but for some people apparently they can’t handle the heat so they should get out of the engine bay while the car is running.

New money and/or new driver, probably texting, reached over for something, there you go.

Don’t think it was a new driver from what I saw of him. Still, I don’t get it. You’ve got to put a shitton of effort into that. The nearest I’ve ever been to spinning (not proud of this moment) was when I got tremendously pissed at a trucker and just cranked over in front of him. Stupid move for a stupid reason, I acknowledge... anyway. My truck was rolling like crazy but that was it. How do you manage to spin a car with far better driving dynamics like that?
Especially considering the fact that there doesn’t seem to be a scratch on the vehicle. Somehow he just swapped ends in the middle of the highway far enough away from any traffic that could hit him. Or provoke a panic move significant enough to pull this off.
In any case, fact is it happened. Somehow.

Maybe an idiot who missed his exit and found a spot to turn around. Insanely enough, it happens. In my area anyway, there are a lot of people who are new to first world driving and often drive expensive or high performance vehicles, you can see some mindblowingly bad driving.

No nearby exits and tire marks that distinctly say “unplanned”.
But yeah, I believe you that it happens. I’ve seen Civics pulling 3-point turns in streets wide enough for ME to do a successful U-turn in (read: ALL THE WIDTH), people stopped 15' in front of intersections blocking the two left lanes because they just HAVE to turn right and those impolite curb lane people won’t stop...
and then there’s this guy...
E39, K5. Whatever it takes.

Maybe he entered on an off-ramp way up the road, and was just lucky.
I see the shittiest u-turns around here, too - I suspect the driving demographic is similar (it is quite like Vancouver or Richmond in my postal code). Not to mention horrible dual turn lane adherence, dippy signal use, weird speed variance and lane positioning - I am pretty sure licenses are for sale. Backer-upper is what I would expect around Vancouver, too.
